To be honest, if we were given those rooms right away, I would not spend the time and energy writing this long review. After numerous discussions with the cleaning lady/owners who told us the B&B was full, we finally were given the choice of 2 rooms on the second floor that were much better. Dirty linens, disgusting bathroom, funky smell, not functioning WIFI, nothing remotely close to the pictures we had seen online. Truly I have no idea how they can get away with putting people in there (see pictures). To say that it needs love is a true understatement. The words to describe the room are hard to find. When we got to the second floor B&B lobby we met with a helpful cleaning lady who directed us to a 3rd floor room (no.2) after talking with the owners. Then thankfully a guest came and got the door open for us. First as many have mentioned, there was not only nobody there when we arrived but we were stuck in the street trying to ring the doorbell for 45 minutes. Owners reassured me it was not a problem. I had contacted the owners about the possibility of early check-in or the possibility to leave our suitcases in a safe place before check-in.
We had booked and prepaid the room online and didn't expected what was about to happen.
